Purpose/Summary

Responsibility for overall establish build and inventory plans to meet customer delivery requirements, ensure a safe work environment, maximize profitable growth, drive quality improvements, provide premier customer service, reduce operating costs, inventories and lead times through continuous improvement.  Oversee day-to-day activities to meet daily expectations.

           

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Liaises with original equipment, aftermarket, service customers, and internal teams.
  • Establishes build and inventory plans to meet customer (internal and external) delivery requirements and business plans.
  • Monitors and reports schedule and shipment performance.
  • Coordinates Customer owned and expendable packaging.
  • Coordinates shipping schedules for suppliers and customers, including arrival and departure windows.
  • Supports the development of short and long range capacity and inventory planning
  • Complies with all safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  • May be required to train others and perform other duties as required.

 
Education and/or Experience (minimum required for the position)
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience in Production and Supply Planning, ERP Utilization, and inventory management.
 
Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Ability to recognize and implement process improvements
  • Proficient in MS Office, charting, and data analysis, with excellent communication skills


Supervisory Responsibilities

            This position has no direct supervisory responsibility. 


Physical Demands/Environment

            While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to stand.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.  The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and vibration.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
